Chrissy Lake began her early training at Motion Express, and has a total of 27 years of training and performance experience in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, modern, cheer and pom. Although Chrissy has trained extensively in multiple genres, her specialty lies in tumbling and acrobatic gymnastics. She has spent the last 18 years traveling all over the Midwest as a private coach, masters class instructor, choreographer, and now Artistic Director to Sloan's Dance Studio.

 

As a performer, Chrissy has auditioned for "Cirque Du Soleil" and performed in the Chicago based professional acrobatic and modern company "Ameba." As a teacher, Chrissy has had a tremendous amount of success in the competition industry, and is well known for her exciting and unique choreography that often leaves both the judges and audience on the edge of their seats. Throughout the years, Chrissy's students have been invited to audition for multiple seasons of "America's Got Talent" seasons 6 & 15, "Kidz Roc" and Jennifer Lopez's smash hit show "World of Dance."

 

Each season, Chrissy's choreography earns her multiple outstanding choreography awards, judges choice awards, and overall placements. In 2016, Chrissy and her students traveled to New York City, and are the Worlds Champions for their incredible routine "X-treme." Although Chrissy loves all aspects of her career, watching her students reach their goals is where her passion lies. Chrissy continues to train young dancers of all ages and inspires them to reach for the stars, and because of her amazing leadership her students have learned that dreams, no matter how big, are possible with hard work and dedication.
